Quiet One-Bedroom Apartment, Free Street Parking

Unsuitable in a heatwave ... Positive: The flat was as described, good location and well presented. Good shower. plenty of teas and coffees - very much appreciated. We arrived in a power cut and the owners helpfully provided us with candles. Thank you. Negative: Our stay unfortunately coincided with a heatwave, and despite the owners providing fans, the room became unbearably hot, forcing us to leave early. The property’s design—particularly the long skylight—created a greenhouse effect, and there was insufficient ventilation, making it difficult to cool the space. The lack of air conditioning and absence of even a freezer compartment in the fridge made it particularly challenging in this exceptionally hot weather. We didn’t raise concerns during our stay, as it was clear that nothing could realistically be done at the time. Overall. the accommodation does not appear well suited to high temperatures and may require air conditioning for future stays. On another note. the sofa bed had a very thin mattress, which made it uncomfortable for sleeping.

Lovely and comfortable house Positive: I liked the house, its amenities, how clean and comfortably it was! Negative: The wifi in my iPhone was a bit weak and the external door lock was tricky to open.

Cosy slice of home with lots of extras enjoyable stay 😊 Positive: Thank you for the little extras , the seasonings for the food , premium laundry soaps , shampoo etc they were great to find, the indoor living plants were lovely, and it was close to city of bath Negative: We struggled with the double bed size but we’re happy to find a foldout which we used, we are used to king size beds in Australia.
